Seven Steps To Make 2026 Your Boldest
By Tina Kapp-Kailea
There was a time when being risqué was considered improper for women, anything risky was framed as a warning label for us. We truly flipped that on its head and we have reclaimed it as a compliment, a reminder that we no longer fear being too bold, too much, or too willing to take risks. It can sometimes feel lonely and I still catch myself wondering sometimes if I’ve bitten off more than I can chew. It’s an inner drive that gets me going.
There is something electric about the moment when a woman finally says, enough, and throws all doubt into the wind. Enough shrinking. Enough waiting for perfect timing. Enough asking for permission to take up the space she already knows she was born for. That is when our power is waking up and it often follows a big shift or traumatic experience that jolts us on a different path that feels like we’re learning to walk again.
Women Thrive Magazine was born from one of those moments and we are now proudly celebrating our 50th edition. The spark for the magazine you hold right now started from one of those life-jolting moments. Raimonda, the founder of the Women Thrive movement saw communities where women’s voices were softened, trimmed, and made “digestible,” and often they participated willingly in this outdated paradigm of toxic competition and power games.
So, instead of shrinking to fit that world, she created a platform where women can show up in their fullness. No filters. No fear. No shrinking for anyone’s comfort. One bold yes to her vision from her became a doorway for thousands.
She took a risk and started Women Thrive Magazine, which is part of the Women Thrive Community and has grown into a global platform – a movement. If she had waited for perfect timing, this very issue would possibly not exist.
This is the energy we celebrate in this issue as we reflect on 2025.
Not perfection. Not performance.
Boldness..
The kind that whispers, this is yours.
The kind that arrives before your courage does.
The kind that changes everything.
“Big risks are never comfortable, but they are always cathartic. Every big win begins with a moment you dare to bet on yourself.”
A Time To Reflect
This is the perfect time to reflect. Not your carefully curated highlight reels – this is our invitation for real reflection. Lifting the lid on where you can improve and where you can learn and grow in your business. Take a look at the chances you took, the chances you avoided, and the chances you quietly wished you had the courage to step into this past year. Stepping into growth is rarely convenient, it’s an invitation you want to accept but are afraid to say yes to.
If this year taught me anything, it is that audacity is not something we learn. It is something we dare to do. This year has certainly pushed me and allowed me to really let go of the riverbank and cut ties with the safety of ‘business as usual’. You know what surprised me? The conclusion that I should have done this way earlier.
So as we stand at the doorway of a new year, I want you to ask yourself something honest. Where have you been holding back?
And what part of you is ready to stop playing safe?
Don’t let this new 2026 year become a repeat of this year – watered down version of you.
Your Bold Roadmap For 2026
STEP ONE: Name Your North Star Win
Your North Star is the one outcome that would make you sit back next December and say, I did that. Write three versions
• The realistic one
• The bold one
• The outrageous one
Circle the one that scares you and excites you.
Then ask: Who do I need to become for this to be inevitable?
STEP TWO: One Brave Move Each Quarter
Not a long list. One move that matters.
- A pitch.
- A launch.
- A brave conversation.
- A collaboration.
- A story you have been scared to tell.
Write down: The moves I keep avoiding.
Here is your roadmap.
Choose one per quarter.
Boldness thrives in simplicity.
STEP THREE: Build Your Risk Support System
Bold women are powerful.
Bold women with a support system are unstoppable.
- Practical ways to build your system
- Choose a mentor who embodies your next level
- Join a community that encourages action
- Curate your social media so it inspires courage
- Create monthly accountability sessions
Courage multiplies in the company of other courageous women.
STEP FOUR: Measure Your Wins With Soul Metrics
This is where transformation lives.
- Ask yourself each month
- Did I speak the truth I usually swallow
- Did I trust myself sooner
- Did I take action despite fear
- Did I show up as the woman I am becoming
Create a monthly soul audit
- I said the thing
- I showed up
- I took the step
- I honoured my truth
Your soul knows when you live boldly long before the external results appear.
STEP FIVE: Celebrate Courage, Not Just Outcomes
Courage deserves ceremony.
Document every brave moment.
Start an Audacity Archive:
- A folder.
- A journal.
- A notes app.
Record every boundary you kept. Every truth you spoke. Every action you took before you felt ready. This becomes your evidence on the days you forget who you are.
STEP SIX: Decide What You Are Done Tolerating
You cannot create a big life while tolerating smallness.
Ask:
- What am I done pretending not to notice?
- What am I done fixing?
- Who am I done shrinking for?
Draw the line. Hold the line.
Let the world adjust.
STEP SEVEN: Choose Your Audacious Identity
The most transformative shift you will make in 2026 is the identity shift.
Complete this:
- The woman I am stepping into is
- She moves by
- She leads with
- She no longer
- She always
Identity determines trajectory.
Let your next level self call the shots.
“If you want a big win, you must be willing to take the risk that feels a little too bold for who you used to be.”
Your Moment Has Arrived
When you design your year in this way, life responds.
Opportunities appear.
People pay attention.
Your energy becomes magnetic.
That edition and all that exist in the Women Thrive Community is testimony that big wins follow big risks. One woman dared. Many women rose.
Audacity expanded.
Now it is your turn.
As you step into 2026, choose the version of you who is done negotiating with fear – the woman who leaps before she has the entire staircase figured out.
- Choose the idea that keeps nudging you.
- Choose the woman who no longer negotiates with fear
- Choose the woman who moves before she feels ready
- Choose the voice that refuses silence
- Choose the idea that will not leave you alone
- Choose the path that feels both terrifying and true
Your next big win is already waiting.
All it needs is your first brave moment.
