How Finding Passion Transformed My Career and Life
On March 20, 2019, I made one of the hardest and most pivotal decisions of my life: I resigned from a practice I had poured my heart, soul, and countless hours into building. It wasn’t just a job—it was my baby. Walking away felt like stepping off a cliff, but it was clear that the environment, riddled with lies, broken promises, and toxicity, no longer aligned with my vision or values.
The decision was agonizing, compounded by a deep personal betrayal. A friend I had trusted like family, someone I thought shared my dreams, had revealed his true character. My husband had warned me, but I chose to see the good in people. That optimism had served me well in life, but this time it brought heartache. Still, I knew deep down it was time to break free and follow my passion.
Building Something of My Own
Within 72 hours of resigning, I had formed my LLC, reclaiming a name I’d once casually used for a hobby nutrition practice. It was as if the universe had been waiting for me to take this leap. In that moment, I became unstoppable. Nothing—and no one—was going to stand in my way.
As I reflect on my journey, I see how every job, every challenge, and every heartbreak prepared me for this path. The years I spent building others’ practices taught me invaluable lessons about leadership, resilience, and the art of transformation. Each experience shaped me into the person I am today—a woman determined to create a safe, empowering space for others to heal and thrive.
Even the struggles—especially the struggles—were necessary. They taught me grit, reinforced my purpose, and fueled my desire to live authentically. I’m grateful for the incredible people I’ve met along the way and for the clients whose lives have been transformed. Their journeys remind me daily why I do this work.
The Power of Desire
About a year and a half ago, I began reading Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, and one chapter struck me deeply: Desire—the Starting Point of All Achievement. Hill’s words mirrored my own journey: the ability to envision what you want, commit to it wholeheartedly, and take bold action to achieve it.
Desire has been my guiding light. It’s what drove me to leave behind the comfort of a steady paycheck and step into the unknown. It’s what fuels me to push through the hard days, take risks, and challenge myself constantly. Growth doesn’t come from comfort—it comes from doing the hard things.
Creating a Life on Your Terms
Today, I run a practice that aligns with my soul’s purpose. It’s a place where people come not just to heal but to reclaim their lives—spending more time dreaming and living and less time worrying and wondering. My journey has taught me that life is far too short to settle for anything less than what sets your soul on fire.
If you have a dream—a burning desire—you owe it to yourself to chase it. Let go of the resistance, take the leap, and do the work. People may doubt you. Challenges will arise. But remember this: You are the one who decides what you are capable of achieving.
If you’re ready to step into your purpose, overcome the blocks holding you back, and create a life you love, I’m here to guide you. Let’s turn your desire into action and your dreams into reality. Reach out to me today to begin your journey.
