6 Secrets of a Resilient Woman Leader
People don’t realize that it’s the smart, successful women leaders who have the hardest time sleeping, relaxing, and enjoying life, even though to the world, it looks like they have it all. Underneath all those accomplishments, the tension they feel can lead to eventual chronic body aches and pains, relationship tensions, and limits on their happiness and fulfillment.
Even though they seem like the toughest cookies and can go years tolerating the underlying exhaustion and overwhelm that erodes their power, they often don’t get help until something hits the fan, and a life drama sparks a breakdown – at work, at home, and in her own wellbeing.
Life drama knocked at my door throughout my corporate career. A divorce, several moves, and then remarrying changed the person I was at the beginning of my career. Surprisingly, the corporate environment I began working in changed, too. I became unhappy and stressed with little patience for anyone or anything.
In 2003, I discovered healing energy. Reiki, in particular, hooked me, and I continued learning more healing energy techniques. I learned to flip the script on life’s hardships by controlling my choices and recognizing how energy can affect the physical body. Helping people see that life shouldn’t be hard and that they can build the life of their dreams became my mission.
Now I combine my corporate experience with my energy-healing knowledge to support stressed-out superwomen into sustainably resilient authentic leaders. With step-by-step guidance, support, and training they develop unbreakable resilience. No matter what Drama Dragon life throws at them, they are grounded, and calm, and remain in their zone of genius.
These six secrets came out of what I’ve learned throughout my life and my career. As you learn these secrets, you’ll see that this is a process, not a destination. When you continue to learn these secrets, your life changes and you become the resilient leaders we really are.

As you know, a strong woman will keep going when those dragons of life come up. She wants to show up fully prepared to do her job, it matters to her! She doesn’t even notice that she is burning up inside. Well, not until she feels the impact of her unintended bitchy comments given to her friends and co-workers as they start to make comments or just stay a safe distance away. Or until she notices that she is tripping over the balls that are falling left and right when she normally juggles them quite nicely.
She is afraid that if things keep going like this, she will lose everything: her job, her home, and her relationships with family and friends. It’s critically important that she keep her head in the game so that she can keep her job and maintain her integrity and well-earned respect at work and at home.
