She is an international speaker, creator of the trauma-informed B.O.L.D. Method™ and author of the upcoming book Serpent & Strategy: The Flamekeeper’s Path of Reclamation. A disabled veteran and spiritual entrepreneur, Angel is known for somatically creating majestic brand ecosystems, helping clients alchemize their story into a brand that moves like fire.

Q1. It’s an honour to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

It’s been a journey for sure! I’ve been a serial entrepreneur for over a decade now, owning and scaling four different businesses. From medic in the Army, to cosmetologist, to insurance agent, to rage room owner, to creative strategist, I’ve held many titles.

After some major moments in my life in 2021, I fell into deep depression and burnout. In 2022, I began my healing journey and realized just how essential healers, visionaries, and soul-led leaders are in this world. That’s when I rebranded myself as the Flakekeeper and Sacred Brand Alchemist, somatically creating majestic brand ecosystems for visionaries who feel stuck in their own dark heads.

Q2. I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Oh boy! The biggest challenge I’ve encountered was being undiagnosed with ADHD for most of my life. Everything felt harder than it needed to be. I struggled to focus, I was constantly overstimulated, and eventually everything manifested as burnout about six months to a year into each business.

I kept pushing through anyway, thinking that was just how entrepreneurship worked. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was repeating the same cycle over and over because of how my brain works. Once I understood that, I stopped trying to force myself into systems that were never built for me.

Q3. What do you think is the biggest challenge female entrepreneurs face today?

I believe systemic barriers are the biggest challenge women entrepreneurs face. These include the wealth gap, limited access to funding, lack of influential connections, gender bias and discrimination, balancing multiple responsibilities, and the self-imposed limitations that come from being conditioned to shrink.

While I was in the military, there was an unspoken rule that you had to do the same, if not better, than a man’s best. Running, lifting, studying, everything was a competition. And rest? That wasn’t encouraged.

Over the past ten-plus years in business, I’ve felt that same energy show up in different ways. The sideways glances. The quiet judgment. The feeling of being in rooms people didn’t think you belonged in. There is a constant pressure to prove our worth in systems that were never designed with us in mind.

Q4. What advice can you give to aspiring female entrepreneurs?

First of all, I’m here for the girls, gays, and theys. Always.

I’m deeply committed to learning how to use my privilege to support marginalized communities, especially because I belong to several myself, including LGBTQIA+, disabled, women, and veteran communities.

– Action Step: No matter how you identify, believe in yourself boldly! You only get one life, so you might as well live it as the most genuine version of yourself.

– Do it scared.

– Try new things. Experience life.

I hid my cane for a long time and walked without it more than I should have. I smiled through gritted teeth and told people I was fine when I wasn’t, all because I was worried about what others thought of me. Eventually, I realized that other people’s perceptions of me are none of my business.

Q5. What has been the most impactful decision in your career?

I reclaimed my fire.

For a long time, I built businesses that looked successful on paper but were disconnected from my truth. I separated strategy from soul, professionalism from lived experience, and visibility from safety. I believed that being taken seriously meant hiding parts of myself.

The most impactful decision of my career was choosing to stop doing that.

I chose to build my work from the truth of who I am. A disabled veteran, a survivor, a queer creative, and a healer who understands what it means to be unseen. That choice led me to create The B.O.L.D. Method™, a trauma-informed approach to branding that treats visibility as ceremony, not performance.

Once I reclaimed my fire, my work became clearer, my message became stronger, and the people I was meant to serve finally found me. I didn’t just build a brand; I built a legacy rooted in truth, integrity, and liberation.

Q6. In terms of legacy, what is the mark you would like to leave on the world?

The mark I want to leave on the world is simple, but powerful:

1. Love with your whole heart, because abundance in all forms is always around you.

2. Be kind, always. And when you’re not, take accountability for it.

3. Be boldly you. There is only one unique you in this world. Live as yourself, unapologetically, and trust that the right people will always find you.

Q7. Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?

Ooohhh, I’d love that! You can find me over on IG, it’s my favorite place to hang out, but I’m on most platforms as Angel Dash Branding Co.

I can’t wait to connect with you!
