By understanding the landscape and staying true to your values, you can carve out a successful multiple 6-figure business for yourself in the online business world of holistic health, personal development, and spiritual well-being.

My formula for creating an abundant multiple-figure business year after year is:

Inner Game ( Mindset + Energy) + Outer Game (strategy + Implementation) = Success

So, before we dive right into strategy, it’s important to energetically align to your vision and what you really want. What this means is to decide not just what you want, but how you want to FEEL when you have it.

Envisioning a multiple six-figure business, what does it represent for you? Is it personal coaching, group sessions, or exclusive VIP days? Consider your client capacity—how many can you manage while still fostering your own leadership growth? Reflect on your daily journey; what emotions do you seek to experience? Answering these questions is crucial to ensure you’re buildinga sustainable, enjoyable, and profitable business, rather than merely increasing offers to boost income, which can lead to burnout.

2. Know Your Audience Inside and Out

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my years of entrepreneurship, it’s this: know thy audience. Take the time to really understand who your HEART-YES client is – their wants, needs, pain points, and aspirations. 

The better you understand your audience intimately, the better you’ll be able to serve them and meet their needs. I come back to this every quarter to make sure I am speaking to the current problem they have now and what it looks like for them when it’s solved.

3. Create Compelling Offers

In the world of online business, it’s not enough to just be a great coach or practitioner– you need to have a compelling offer that stands out from the crowd. What makes your offer better at helping them achieve the solution they are looking for? What value can you add to make it an easy YES in the decision-making process. Whether it’s a 1:1 coaching package, group program, or a value-packed bundle, make sure your offers are value-based and results-driven to make them irresistible to your HEART- YES client. Make note of what your clients are asking for and make sure you are helping them see the transformation they get by working with you. 

4. Build Trust Through Authenticity

In a world where authenticity is increasingly rare, being genuine and transparent can set you apart from the competition. Be honest about who you are, what you stand for, and what you can offer your audience. Building trust comes from leading with generosity, value, and being visible. Don’t worry about making the perfect reel, post, or video. Just be yourself and share value to help your audience create wins. And most importantly, be consistent. Nothing breaks trust quicker than not showing up when you say you will.

5. Leverage Collaborative and Strategic Partnerships

For example, I have a friend who certifies coaches to support women through menopause. She teaches them the craft, but not the business-building component. So I come in and do free talks to her audience to help them learn the next steps to monetize their practice. In return, she comes into my community to share her expertise in menopause and gains new clients who are looking to add that modality to their offer suite.

We both share the same audience, holistic practitioners and coaches, but serve them in entirely different ways. Who do you know who has an audience you can add value to and in return help them create a win too?

6. Focus on Customer Experience

Your customers are the lifeblood of your business, so make sure you’re treating them like royalty. 30% of the clients working with you now will continue to re-enroll in another offer IF they feel valued. From the moment they first encounter your brand to long after they’ve made a purchase, focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience that leaves them coming back for more. Little things like a beautiful welcome gift, birthday cards, and gifts and making sure they feel supported goes a long way in cultivating connection and long-term connection with clients who will stay with you for years. 

7. Leverage Social Proof

In the age of social media, word-of-mouth marketing is more powerful than ever before. Use social proof – such as customer testimonials, case studies, and reviews – to build credibility and trust with your audience. People are more likely to buy from someone that others have vouched for. You can share a screenshot of a testimonial, client win, or even do a client interview to help people see that people are getting real results by working with you. 

8. Continue To Bring People Into Your Ecosystem

Cultivating an online community and email marketing are still two of the most effective ways to connect with your audience, nurture relationships, and enroll clients. I love building my online community using Facebook groups.

It gives people a central location to land and feel a part of something bigger than themselves. Whether someone meets me in person, on a podcast, at a summit, or at a talk, it allows me to nurture people with weekly value, connect intimately in messenger with voice messages or a welcome video, and build connection and trust that is critical before anyone buys. You also want to build an email list of engaged subscribers, and use it to deliver valuable content, and offers straight to their inbox. Your email list is the only thing you own in terms of client information.

Social media platforms own their groups and can shut down at a moment’s notice so you want to make sure you are consistently growing your email list. Just make sure you’re providing real value – nobody likes to be sold to all the time. 

9. Stay Positive and Adapt to Change

The world of online business is constantly evolving, so it’s important to stay adaptable. Keep an eye on what your customers are asking for, what they feel their current problem is and the solution they are asking for, and be willing to pivot your strategy as needed. Notice where your paying clients are coming from. Double down on those strategies and let go of what’s no longer working. And remember, business goes through seasons.

You won’t stay in the harvest season all the time. There will be time to re-evaluate, plant seeds, nurture your audience and finally experience abundance. The ability to adapt is often the difference between success and failure. Remember, it will take 6-12 months from the time someone first comes into your world before they become a buyer, so be willing to play the long game. 

10. Never Stop Learning and Growing

Finally, remember that success in online holistic business is a journey, not a destination. Keep learning, keep growing, and keep evolving yourself to new capacity. Whether it’s through books, courses, conferences, or mentorship, invest in your own personal and professional development. The more you grow, the more your business will grow with you.
