For more than 30 years, I have been privileged to serve women in the beauty and wellness industry. What began as a passion for helping others look and feel their best became a calling far greater than I could ever have imagined.
In 2010, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) in an advanced stage. My health rapidly declined. I became bedridden and faced numerous life-threatening challenges, including diabetes, seizures, clinical depression, a stroke in 2012, an embolism in 2013, cervical cancer, and eventually a thyroidectomy. The medical prognosis was bleak, and I was placed on permanent medical disability.
There were many days when hope seemed impossible to find. Physically, emotionally, and spiritually, I was at my lowest point. Yet even in those darkest moments, God was working behind the scenes.
At the end of 2015, my life changed forever. Through my faith and the grace of God, I experienced complete healing. Today, there is no sign of the diseases that once controlled my life. What doctors believed would permanently limit me became a testimony of restoration, strength, and purpose.
Today, I work up to 14 hours a day in my fully booked salon and training academy. Every day is a reminder that our circumstances do not define our future. I am passionate about passing on my knowledge and skills to the next generation of beauty and wellness professionals, ensuring that my legacy continues through those I mentor and train.
One of my unique specialties is the treatment of ingrown toenails and problematic foot conditions, helping clients regain comfort, confidence, and quality of life. I have dedicated years to developing advanced skills in this field and take great pride in offering solutions where many people have previously lost hope.
My greatest passion, however, is empowering women. I believe every woman carries purpose, regardless of her past struggles or current circumstances. Many women walk through my doors feeling broken, discouraged, and uncertain of their future. My mission is to help them rediscover their worth, rebuild their confidence, and believe in their dreams again.
I am also deeply honoured to work with cancer survivors. Following mastectomies, I assist women through specialised areola and breast restorative treatments, helping them regain confidence and feel whole again. Witnessing a woman look in the mirror and smile after such a difficult journey is one of the greatest privileges of my career.
My story is not simply about surviving illness. It is about overcoming adversity, choosing faith over fear, and using every challenge as an opportunity to uplift others. The trials I faced became the foundation of a purpose-driven life dedicated to healing, teaching, and inspiring.
If there is one message I hope to leave with others, it is this: never give up. No matter how impossible your situation may seem, there is always hope. Sometimes our greatest setbacks become the very tools that equip us to help others rise.
Today, I stand not as a victim of my circumstances, but as living proof that with faith, perseverance, and purpose, brokenness can become a powerful testimony of hope.
